The staple has MANY beneficial side effects. Aside from suppressing your appetite and helping you to lose weight, the staple also almost eliminates sugar cravings and helps with Gastro-Intestinal problems. There is no office visit fee and we do not charge tax. The doctor will explain to you the advantages and disadvantages of having 2 staples prior to the insertion procedure. Back to Top How long will it last? The effect of appetite suppression lasts for 2 to 3 months. When your body becomes accustomed to the presence of the staple, the effect wears off. Therefore, the length of time can vary for each individual. Back to Top Does it hurt? The staple is instrumentally inserted and is similar to having an ear pierced. Those who are pregnant or trying to conceive should not have this procedure done. It is safe for anyone else.
